Jana is a seasoned traveler, having studied in England, backpacked across Europe, and even visited ancient ruins in Turkey. She loves the road so much that she was possessed to drive in a big circle around the entire island of Great Britain in a rental car for thirty days, visiting a ton of culture and history hotspots along the way. Even crazier, she spent four months backpacking her way across Europe, hitting eleven countries along the way. She has driven most of Route 66 and explored 41 US states, visiting a ton of National Parks along the way. And then there was Spain during Covid. Her planning skills terrify even her closest friends. (Check out where she has been!)
A classic archaeologist, Jana likes playing in the dirt. She has participated in archaeological digs in Ohio and Michigan. She currently works in the tourism industry all across the United States. Her mission is to uncover the past and make history come alive for others.
Jana currently resides in Georgia.
She has previously lived in Michigan, Ohio, Upstate New York (Hudson River Valley), New York City, Illinois, Maine, Arizona (the Grand Canyon to be exact), coastal Maryland, Missouri, and the United Kingdom.
Jana has been to:
Hungary (Just Budapest. I need to go back.)
Italy (extensive travels)
Portugal (I may have just walked across the border and went back to Spain. Stupid COVID restrictions.)
Slovakia (Just Bratislava, but it was amazing)
Slovenia (just the Istrian Peninsula, unfortunately)
Spain (extensive travels)
United Kingdom (lived here and extensive travels)
United States (obviously)
